Despite their rocky start, Shizuku and Seiji quickly develop a deep and abiding friendship, which eventually blossoms into romance. As they navigate their feelings for each other, they must also confront the challenges of growing up, including family expectations, peer pressure, and the uncertainty of the future. The film tells the story of Shizuku Tsukishima, a 14-year-old girl who loves to read and write. She spends most of her free time devouring books from the local library, and her favorite authors are Seiji Amasawa and a mysterious writer known only as “Shin”. As Shizuku navigates the challenges of adolescence, she begins to experience strange and vivid dreams, which seem to be connected to her reading and writing. At its core, “Whisper of the Heart” is
